1. I'm in Saskatchewan, the province next to Manitoba - I think ours are fairly similar. Sask. teachers have a provincial contract, so it doesn't matter where you teach in the province, or what grade you teach. Currently, depending upon one or two degrees, the starting salary is 34 to 40,000. That's just to give you an idea. Some provinces' salaries vary by each school division, though.
