What do you think a teacher would do in this situation?

not saying this happened to me or anyone I know but i was always curious what the teachers would think if it did happen. What would happen if a student got suspended because he punched a bully in the face and when the parent was called in to talk about it the parent got angry and yelled at the teacher and told the teacher that he/she doesnt know how to handle fights right and says it should be right for students to beat up bullies.

Public Comments

1. I suppose that the administrator would tell the parent that their is a strict non-violence policy within the school district and the school is merely following rules. If the parent wanted to get nasty and personal then the educators involved in the case can just act legalistic (rules are rules) and deflect personal criticism by this method. That's my guess.
2. Fighting is against school rules so no matter how much your mother rants and raves there's nothing can be done.
