poem i wrote for my schools prom and graduation?

what do you think of it, and how can i improve it spelling and punctuation wise? thanks Teachers teach us how to learn; We grow as our young minds churn. Reading and writing to reach a goal; School is a stride in life’s stroll. As we walk, the colors shine through; Blue and gold, forever in me and you. And all the tests should be kept, As tokens to read every step. The journey is close to an end, So celebrate with all your friends. Laugh and love, a last chance, To run around and dance, dance, dance.

  1. Here's my corrections: Teachers teach us how to learn. We grow as our young minds churn. Reading and writing to reach our goal; School is a stride in one life's stroll. As we walk, the colors shine through; Blue and Gold, forever in me and you. And all we wrote should be kept as tokens to remember every step. The journey is close to an end, So celebrate it with all your friends. Laugh and love, it's your last chance To run around and dance, dance, dance.
