Colorado a finalist for Race to the Top grantFriday, July 30, 2010 @ 8:24PMThe U.S. Department of Education has named Colorado one of 19 finalists for Phase 2 of the federal Race to the Top grant competition. The finalists, announced July 27, were chosen from applications submitted by 35 states and the District of Columbia. Winners are expected to be announced in September.
